    OEH invites public comment on the Draft Everglades Conservation Agreement. The National Trust of Australia (NSW) approached OEH to voluntarily place a Conservation Agreement pursuant to Section 69A-KA of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 over an area of land at Everglades, Leura to protect significant natural heritage conservation values in-perpetuity.
    Submissions must be received by 30 November 2015.

    The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is seeking comment on the proposed Lower Thredbo Valley Track and the Review of Environmental Factors.

    The NPWS is proposing to extend the recently completed shared-use Thredbo Valley Track within Kosciuszko National Park. The proposed track will be known as the Lower Thredbo Valley Track. The proposal would extend the existing track by an additional 18–20 kms from Bullocks Flat to the Thredbo River Picnic Area.

The input, along with advice from the Independent Technical Reference Group is helping to shape the next plan. In mid 2015 the redrafted Wild Horse Management Plan will be placed on public exhibition for further consultation.
