Lease of Land - Kosciuszko National Parks

Perisher Blue Pty Limited has lodged a development application to expand snowmaking infrastructure at Perisher Ski Resort in the Smiggin Holes ski area.

The expansion of snowmaking will provide additional snow coverage to the northern part of Smiggin Holes ski area and improve the availability of snow during marginal conditions.

The development will include the construction of a 2 mega-litre water tank and a 400m2 pump station. The land proposed for development is currently licenced to Perisher Blue Pty Limited however the tank and pump station structures will require a Lease.

The area of land subject to a Lease is no more than 2000m2 and subject to survey on completion of the works.

The site is located between the top of the Captain Cook and Scott J Bars at Smiggin Holes ski area.
